Mola Kalyva is a quiet and picturesque settlement with apartments, hotels, night clubs, bars, super markets, beautiful taverns and small shops that can meet the needs of everyday living, without disturbing the peace and simplicity of your holidays.
Tradition says that the name of the settlement came from the guard that the monks had placed at the area. His name was “Molas” and he stayed in a small cabin (Kalyva). Locals used to say “at Mola’s Kalyva”.
The beach is sandy and extremely clean, ideal for children and the pine forest is suitable for nature walks. The position of Mola Kalyva, offers the opportunity of many activities, visiting local points of interest and discovering natural treasures. It’s close to the Mendi prehistoric settlement and to the beaches of Possidi, Skala Fourkas, the picturesque fisherman’s village of Bea Skioni and to Agia Paraskevi thermal baths.
